Arlington Workforce Center Hiring Fair Days — Wednesday, September 9

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Arlington Workforce Center, 2000 E. Lamar Blvd., Suite 100

This one features Compressed Air Systems, recruiting for shipping and receiving, order puller, mechanical assembler, production coordinator, and warehouse assembly technician. UTA All Majors Job & Internship Fair — Wednesday, September 16

12:00 – 4:00 p.m. | University of Texas at Arlington

The broadest fair on the UTA calendar, one day after the engineering one. Open to all UTA students and alumni looking for full-time positions, part-time jobs, internships and field placements, with more than 100 employers expected. One thing to confirm before you go: as of the end of August the university had not posted the building for this year's fair. Past editions have been held in the Maverick Activities Center, but check the Career Development Center listing or Handshake for the room before you walk across campus.

2026 Fort Worth Area Job Fair — Wednesday, September 30

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Nick and Lou Martin University Center, Texas Wesleyan University, 3165 E. Rosedale St., Fort Worth

Not an Arlington event, but it is roughly a half hour down I-30 and it is the only large general-audience fair between mid-September and November. Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County is running it with Trinity Metro and Texas Wesleyan, which means transit and logistics employers are in the room alongside the usual mix. Free professional headshots for attendees, same as the agency's other big fairs. If you are between the September campus fairs and the November giant and you do not want a six-week gap in your search, this is the one to drive to.

15th Annual Hiring Red, White & You! — Thursday, November 5

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Globe Life Field, 734 Stadium Dr.

The biggest hiring event on the Tarrant County calendar, and it is in Arlington. Workforce Solutions runs it with the Texas Workforce Commission and the Texas Veterans Commission as part of a statewide push, with 165 employers expected. It is a veterans event in origin and priority access goes to veterans and their spouses, but it is open to absolutely everyone. Parking is free in Lots A and R. There are free professional headshots near the entrance, job fair mentors stationed at four points inside for resume and elevator-pitch help, and interpreters in Arabic, French, Spanish and sign language. The employer list with job openings posts 72 hours before the doors open. A printed ticket is not required, there is no copier on site, and if you have a record on your background check, the organizers say most employers there handle it case by case and the mentors will coach you on how to raise it.
